The playoff chances for the Los Angeles Lakers looked bleak in late February, with the team clinging to one of the final spots in the NBA’s play-in round and LeBron James suffering what was thought could be a season-ending foot injury.
Yet James miraculously returned to the court a month later, after he says a doctor told him he was “healing faster than anybody before they’ve seen with the injury.” The Lakers have won three of four games since, and appear likely to be playoff-bound with a handful of games to play.
It’s just the latest in a long string of superhuman feats James has accomplished since entering the NBA in 2003–both on and off the court. In June, Forbes named him a billionaire, making James and Tiger Woods the first ever athletes to hit a ten-digit net worth while still active in their respective sports.
James’ and Woods’ fortunes are anchored by massive and sustained earnings across two decades, both on the field of play through unparalleled athletic success and with endorsement deals equal to their icon status. Along the way, each has used the cash to build impressive investment portfolios.
The duo headline a group of 12 newcomers to the 2023 World’s Billionaires rankings, all of whom earned their spots thanks to the booming business of sports. In particular, these dozen new billionaires can thank the financial windfall that has come from ballooning media rights deals, which have sent team values and athlete earnings sky-high across several leagues. With good reason. Last year, 94 of the 100 most-watched linear telecasts in the United States were sporting events. And that doesn’t even include the value of new media like Netflix, which turned Toto Wolff, team principal and part-owner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team, into a celebrity billionaire with the effect of its “Drive to Survive” series on the value of Formula 1 teams.

Ideas To Help You Create A Highly Effective Article Marketing Campaign
One clever tactic that businesses use to attract new customers is called article marketing. Article marketing essentially involves businesses writing articles that are relevant to products or services that they sell. These articles are helpful to readers and may persuade them to buy products or services made by the business that will meet their needs. Below is an article that contains tips related to article marketing.
Be bold and powerful with your words. Readers want to know that the writer is really speaking their mind. To influence them even more, use strong wording to prove your point. Bold your most powerful words, and use bullet points to draw their eyes to the places you want them to focus most.
Get auto responders set up for all of your articles. Setting up a master auto responder lets you get out the word of what you do, without taking up your precious time. An auto responder is critical in the article marketing field. For maximum effect, make sure that you have all of your articles set up on one.
Adding in links to your other articles that are helpful and related can be a huge benefit for your article marketing. The benefit behind adding in link backs is that it will help you in the search rankings and it will get readers to more and more of your articles.
It is important to be patient when employing article marketing tactics. Article marketing is definitely not the quickest sort of online advertising. The benefits take months to make an impact on website traffic figures. One distinct advantage to focus on is that article marketing is a fairly long-term strategy; its traffic-boosting effects linger for a long time after the initial effort is made.
Don’t write the great American novel! When people are looking for information online, they don’t generally want to read a thousand words. Learn to edit appropriately to convey your message in an interesting, readable, lively manner. Articles of 300 to 500 words that deliver their message in a concise manner are appreciated by online readers!
After you’ve written a while, you should have a large body of work online. Compile your best work to create an eBook. You can then sell the eBook (or even give it away) to promote your business. The better your e-book is, the more it will get read and your business will increase.
Write only for your readers. While a large part of article marketing is appealing to search engines and article databases, if you write your articles for them, you will lose readers. Losing these readers actually will place you lower on search engine lists, essentially having the opposite effect of your original intentions.
Use shorter, quicker articles for traffic generation. As you get deeper into article marketing you will get a feel for all the different purposes you can use articles for. The articles you send out to directories and indexes in order to build links and improve your search engine rankings do not need to be magnificent manifestos. Send your short articles out for these jobs and do not worry too much about their quality.
Readers might not understand exactly what you want them to do, so make sure that your article marketing campaign is as explanatory as it can be. You want to be very direct with your readers and tell them explicitly what you want them to do and what you need from them. Don’t keep any secrets here.
Be sure your articles actually deliver a helpful message.` If readers find that your articles pertain to the issues in their lives and offer sound advice for solutions, they are likely to become loyal followers.
Use headlines which contain questions, answers, or statistics on your website and in your newsletters. These types of headlines can grab people’s attention, and they can also give potential buyers a lot of information about your product or service, even if they don’t read the text that follows the headline.
You should never try to sell your expertise in your articles. You should try to give them quality articles that will help them. Providing them engaging content is the ideal way to show them how competent you are.
Make a goal of writing one article each day that you will submit. Using daily articles for your website is a great way to get ongoing results with search engines while always having the stash of articles there to help on the back end.
It is always a good idea to research your potential keywords before marketing your article. Using the right keywords is important because it can help you get more traffic to your articles.
When writing an article within your niche, it isn’t enough to say that you know something. Be sure to back up your knowledge with solid references. Locate all of your references and copy and paste the quotes and information you want into a single reference document. Make sure you include crediting information (name and location of reference material). Use this document as a handy source to write your articles.
When you write articles for your website to market your product write in first person. Referring to yourself in third person is strange and inappropriate unless you are royalty. Speak directly to your readers as if you were having a conversation with them. This will make you seem as if you are a real person with whom they can have a relationship and do business.
Article marketing is a great way to spread information and get your message heard across the internet. Offering free, quality content means you are likely to be reposted on many sites. So, your ideas will be heard. This is great motivation from a writing standpoint but also a good marketing strategy.
As stated before, article marketing is a clever business tactic that is used to attract new customers. Businesses write article related to their products and services and readers read these article while possibly buying from the business after reading. Use the tips from this article to make article marketing a part of your business.
