Long tail keywords are an important part of effective article marketing. When you do this, you will begin to see the impact of having top ranked search results. Longtail keywords generally get looked up around 50 times per month, so you may be able to generate business this way.
Don’t include too much information in your article. The point of an article used for marketing purposes is to give readers a reason to visit your website. If the articles you write includes all the information that a potential visitor needs, they are unlikely to visit your website after reading.

This allows you to get more mileage out of your articles, and even though people talk all about Google penalizing your for duplicate content, most people don’t understand that this mostly means duplicate content that resides on the same domain.
If your company provides products or services to other companies, your article marketing efforts can be combined with your customer relations efforts by including some of your customer’s “success” stories in your article. There is also the opportunity for your customer to reciprocate by including your company story in the articles that they distribute for publication.
Use a question in your article title. Have good keywords too, and people will read your article just to find out the answer. Don’t let them down. If you pose a good question, back it up with a detailed answer and then write a lead-in to your product.
